Hull Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Hull... Stephanie and Ben had an unbelievably gorgeous wedding filled with more love then I think I have ever seen at a wedding!!! Their wedding was held at Belmont Abbey where they both met when they were in college. The priest who did their ceremony knew most of the two of them as well as most of the wedding party which made the ceremony so much more personable. The wedding party was fantastic and when everyone let loose we all had a blast. The reception was held at Southend Brewery near uptown Charlotte. I made the comment that night and will say it again... The most people I have EVER seen on the dance floor at a wedding. I am pretty sure everyone, old and young, were rocking out together!!! Congrats to you both. Thank you for letting me share in this special day with the two of you. You are an amazing couple and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Your love is so genuine and pure and most people wait a lifetime to find what the two of you have found, never actually finding it. Enjoy your photos...

Probably one of my favorite pictures of the day... I asked Stephanie to see the last message they had sent to each other and when I snapped the picture her alarm went off saying she was getting married!!! What an awesome moment and rare capture for a photo!!!

Another beautiful fall day... The Allen Family!!! William is getting huge and is clearly a toddler now... You just have to learn to move with the kids when you are taking pictures!!! William sure is a Daddy's boy!!! :) He got so excited when his dad arrived! Yes... he is also a mamma's boy :) Will just keeps on growing like a weed! I loved watching him explore esp through the path we chose to walk! Turn away for one second and off he would go into the leaves and dirt! Such a little boy!! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! Luke and Noah!!! So we know these two are some of my favorite little boys out there... We haven't taken actual family photos yet but Luke went along with me to one of my shoots and was my helpful little assistant!!! He said he wanted a picture with Kody so he has one! Now I have to get it printed for his big boy room!!! When Noah got off the bus we grabbed our backpacks and headed on our usual neighborhood hike!!! So I took a few silly pictures of the boys!!! But seriously these two boys are too handsome and need to be little models. Watch Noah pose :) Can't wait to take the family photos ;) Love my boys!!!

Jackson turns 1 :) You have watched this little man grow from a peanut to a little boy if you have been following my blog over the last year!! :) Jackson always makes me work hard to get a smile, little turkey! This time it was 70 degrees outside the day before our shoot and of course a cold front came in along with the wind the morning of Jackson's shoot. Poor little fella was so chilly and he saved his giggles until I was giving him hugs and kisses before they left!!! So a few quick snaps we took by the car!! :) Thank you Amanda and Jeff for sharing your handsome little angel with me over the last year!!! Can't wait to watch him grow some more... :)

Meet gorgeous Gracie!!! One of the happiest babies ever for a photo shoot and so freakn adorable!!! She was even belly laughing at one point when I was playing with her trying to make her smile! Tomorrow, Stephanie and Ben will say I DO!!! A gorgeous couple who made me laugh so hard during their engagement session. They have been together for what seems like a decade according to their family and friends. Definitely a couple that has been together for so long that they were finishing each others sentences, just looking at each other and busting out laughing and more comfortable around each other then most who have been together for ever. Let's start this shoot out with a few blown kisses... then we will head on our adventure shoot with our secret garden and hot air balloon ride!!! This shoot goes down in the books of one of my favorites yet. I found these spots when I was walking my nephew and niece the other day and couldn't wait to use them with Berkley!!! I literally can kiss this kids face all day long until she say's "Shanny stop," and pushes me away! Yep... def drive her crazy when I smother her with sugar!!! Jessica mentioned shooting some pictures with a balloon since B loves balloons. When I mentioned it to my friend Christen she gave me the awesome idea to make a hot air balloon so on a mission Jess and I went. First stop was Target where we found this awesome basket. When headed to Party City to grab the balloons and as the rain came down we doubted having the chance of using the balloons! But right when we got to the closest park (since our other option was not going to work because of the rain) it stopped raining and we took a few quick pictures before the rain would hit us again!!! Berkley was a champ although she was clearly exhausted and over the balloons!!! Love these pictures... sorry there are so many but I'm a littl biased when it comes to family!!! :) Thanks Jess for all the fun and thanks precious B for warming your Aunt's heart and bringing a smile to her face, as always!!! I love you!!!!

Meet beautiful Reis! My favorite combination of dark hair and blue eyes and a face you could just kiss all over! I know, I know, I say that about every baby but seriously how precious is this child? If you ask her Grandma, Dana, like any Grandma she will tell you this child is the greatest blessing to ever come into her life, minus her own children of course!!! If you ask precious Reis parents, they too would tell you this little princess has the world already wrapped around her at just three months old. We were able to caputre a few moments although Reis just wasn't having her princess shoot. Like her Grandma told me, as soon as I left, she ate, had a huge poop and was smiling and cooing like it was her job!!! Imagine that, right? Can't wait to take more pictures of her when she gets a little older and can sit up on her own!!! Her mom, Rachel and Dad, Andrew were great sports and I know they will have her decked out in the cutest outfits and ready to rock the next time!!! I loved Rachel's tattoo on her arm and had to capture it in a few pictures!!! Mom and Dad were def not originally going to be in any pictures this day but I had to take a few!!! Big Boy Hank

A day in the life of Hank on the farm... Sweet precious Hank has turned one!!! Where has the time gone? I feel like we were taking pictures of him as a little peanut just a week ago. Little boy on the go, to say the least. It was a hot sunny day and the bright sun was constantly in our eyes no matter where we tried but we still managed to get a few precious photos of this handsome little boy! As always as soon as the camera was put down Hank started with his smiles and went off with his Daddy on a four wheeler (yep, if you know me, it made my heart stop! ha ha!!!) Erica and Henry were good sports out in the heat! Thanks for letting me spend the morning with you guys out on your family farm!!! :) I could have stayed there all day taking pictures of useless things!!! :)

Colton Wedding: Ocean Isle

Take one, take two, take three... take four....

A wedding on the beach... what more could you ask for? Jay and Joelle have known each other for what seems like a century to everyone around them! I was honored to be able to take a part in making their day so special. A small yet perfect beach wedding... thankful that the rain held off! Two families who came together for a family beach week and to witness two people clearly, crazy and totally in love! My favorite part of the entire day was after everyone went onto the rehearsal and Jay and Joelle had some alone time with each other on the beach to take a few pictures. Watching the two of them stare into each others eyes, laughing at their "posing-techniques," had me nearly in tears. I will admit this is the first wedding that I have photographed that I was brought to tears during the mother-son dance. For those of us who were there, there were not many dry eyes! What an unbelievably special and priceless moment. Joelle you made one heck of a gorgeous bride and yes I was stunned by your beauty! To Mr. and Mrs. Colton I wish you a lifetime of happiness together. Thank you for allowing me the chance to capture some of these moments! Meet precious Sameer and Sairah!!! The Chandok's were the most welcoming family! Sameer the handsome older brother gave me a big high five as soon as he met me and sweet Sairah's smile will melt your heart. This was a session for Sairah but we took a few sibling pictures and a couple quick family pictures! It was a humid muggy day and we had grasshoppers jumping all over us!!! As soon as we would wipe off the blanket little hoppers would jump all over it again! Sameer is definitely going to be a very protective older brother even if he doesn't want to admit it! Sairah watches everything that he does and when they were laying on the floor in the house before we went outside Sairah was cooing and laughing at Sameer's silly faces!!! Great family!!! Can't wait to take some more pictures in a few months!!!

Welcome to the world baby Noah!!! Katherine you are glowing and I loved spending the time with you to take these pictures! I could eat Noah up!!! We were lucky to have pretty cool weather for our shoot and when we were wrapping up it started getting a little toasty! Noah was in his own little world and no matter how many times we tried to get him to pose for us, it just wasn't happening but we got a few good laughs in regardless! He was such a big babers at birth that he has the strongest little neck muscles that I have seen in a long time for a one month baby! As soon as we would get him in a pose he would push up or move his head so we just went with it!!! :) Handsome baby boy! Watch out baby girls this one's a keeper!!!

Some of you might remember this sweet little face from 7 months ago! Jackson is growing way, way, way to fast!!! Last time I saw him he was snugggled up, being placed inside his dad's fireman hat, on a mantle and burrito wrapped into a little basket!!! Now he wanted nothing to do with the pictures!!! :) Love him!!! I'm sure if someone was videotaping his parents and I trying to make him smile, it would have had a million hits on you tube! We tried everything, every noise, every toy and Jackson just looked at us like we were nuts, finally falling asleep!!! I know as soon as we were finished he smiled the day away laughing that he stumped 3 big people!!! Can't wait until he is a year old but I'm not rushing you one bit buddy... slow down!!! :) Thank you Jeff and Amanda for being such amazing, patient parents! :) Cheers to one handsome little peanut!

Three beautiful sisters all with names starting with H!!! After lots of bribery and complaining about having to have their pictures taken, minus the peanut in the family, we were able to take a few pictures before the sky opened up on us!!! Boy can you tell they are sisters and God bless their parents!!! :) They had me laughing the entire time! Picking on each other and giving their mom a hard time! They all picked out their own clothes to wear since it was hard enough to convince them to take pictures!!! When all else fails let the kids where what they want!!! Their clothing makes them more comfortable and in turn makes smiling for a picture much easier! I was greeted by the youngest, Henley running too me with open arms, a huge hug, which was def needed that day!!! Hannah and Hailey opened up fast and their personalities came to life. If it wasn't for time I bet we could have convinced them to change clothes and then headed somewhere else for more pictures!!! Striking a pose was second nature by the time we were finished!!! "See you in five years!!!" They said as they got back in their car!!! :) A deal they made with their mom... ok we will take these pictures but we aren't taking them again for another 5 years!!! (I bet we can get more before then!!) Thanks for letting me spend the time with you!!! :) I heart you all!!!

Colten Michael; Emma Madeline and Jayden Thea

Three angels were born December 16, 2010 a little too early!!! Emma came home first in Feb and Colt and Jayden came home shortly after in March! These one pound little munchkins are lucky little babies to have such awesome parents like Jill and Mike!!! I can't wait to watch them grow into their little bodies!!! Maybe next time we take pictures they will be able to hold themselves up and I will be able to get one pic of all three of them together. What a funny shoot we had!!! Two out of the three were happy or sleeping.... one would start to cry.... that one would fall asleep... the next would cry!!! All you can do is just laugh at all these precious little cherished moments!! :) I gave Jill and Mike a great ab workout for sure!!! Watching the faces of the people walking by as the babies were unloaded from the car was even better... it's like a clown mobile!!! How many more babies can we get out of the car!!! :) Love these angels and could have stolen all of them!!! :) Congrats Mike and Jill! I am so glad all your babies are now at home! No more hospital EVER!!!
Emma now weighs 10.11 lbs, Colt is 10.6 lbs and Jayden is 9.6 lbs!!!

Seriously how much more precious can this little BEAN be? If we hadn't run out of light I am pretty sure I could have stayed all night taking pictures of sweet Allie!!! First few sets of pictures... massive spit up everywhere!!! Then she was peacefully in her own little world when we took her outside. She was out like a light and so flippin adorable!!! I wish I hadn't had my zoom on when her Daddy went to pick his naked little princess up and shes shot pee everywhere... I was laughing so hard I about wet my own pants and the bushes outside along with daddy's shirt got a special little bit of "rain." :) Thank you Sue Anne and Sean for letting me capture her first week of life... welcome S4 to the family!!!
